Our qualified nursery nurses

The most important asset in any nursery are the people who look after your child. We know that when you are not with them you want your child to feel cared for and with a real sense of belonging, we can only achieve this through our nursery nurses. Our nursery nurses are hand picked for their personality and their love of children. We take great pride in ensuring that we have the best staff to look after your child. We have always applied the simple rule 'would we want this person to look after our own children?'. We also recognise that professional qualifications are vital to a nursery nurse and all our nursery nurses have qualifications ranging from Level 3 Childcare, Childcare Degrees and Early Years Degrees. We believe that your child should be cared for by someone who has completed their professional qualifications and has the personal qualities which ensure the highest standard of care.

Our policies on placements and staff training:

We want to help with the training of future nursery nurses and have agreed to provide a small number of placements to carefully selected trainee. Any trainee will be working towards a Level 3 qualification and supervised by our fully qualified staff. You can be confident that our experienced and qualified staff will always be responsible for your child.

We recognise the importance of continuing professional development and support our existing staff on a wide range of training.

All our Nursery Nurses are qualified and this is in excess of the Government requirement which would allow 50% of staff to be unqualified. This ‘ Lynwood difference’ means that fully qualified, dedicated and experienced staff will always care for your child. Our parents recognise and appreciate the importance of this ‘difference.’
